Randall's Island Sports Foundation Gala

The full-time Zoggers hit the Plaza Monday, November 24 to help the Randall's Island Sports Foundation (RISF) celebrate their Champions for Children Gala.

ZogSports proudly supports the work of the foundation and was thrilled to be there to tout all the hard work they do. Honorees included Kristine Lilly (two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and World Cup Champion), Susan Patricof (founder of the Susan Patricof Head Start Center in Harlem), and Wendy Paulson (chair of RARE and a Trustee of the Cornell Labratory of Ornithology).

Awards were presented by Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton, tennis legend, Billie Jean King, and John Flicker (President of the National Audubon Society). Mayor Bloomberg also spoke.

To find out more about the RISF, visit risf.org. The foundation is constantly looking for volunteers to help with their myriad programs, so check ZogSports' Philanthropy pages for updates, or email alyssa@zogsports.org to ask directly how you can get involved.
